For eleven years the Friendship Foundation LITC has been helping ESL (English as a Second Language) and Low-income families with tax educational and financial literacy programs. This has included information about the rights and duties of tax-filers. This excellent program has been established by the Friendship Foundation through assistance from the Internal Revenue Service and the Taxpayer Advocacy Service.
This program is open to all. If you have any questions regarding your rights and duties as a taxpayer, contact us. If you need information about such tax programs as the Earned Iincome Credit, the Child Tax Credt, the Retirement Savers' Credit, and Energy Efficiency Credits, contact us. If you have questions on Financial Literacy topics, such as the use of credit and mortgages, contact us.
